Thanks to Kip and Seven – what a great team and great camaraderie!
Congrats Kip on 2/2 first places in the SAARC races in E production!
First Sprint / SAARC race
I had a great start and drove my best, coming in 2nd in class, and consistently a second faster than last time at PBIR. I was disappointed though, in impound, when I found out I was under minimum weight for my car. I tried to explain that my finest engineered Porsche alloy tailpipe (which fell off in turn one) might only feel like 8 ounces, but in fact weighs 12 pounds. I frantically searched for other fine German parts that may have fallen off, but realized that I usually weighed the car with some more fuel in it… I gave up my trophy in the sake of good sportsmanship.
Second Race / FES Enduro ( 90 minutes, one mandatory 5 minute pit stop)
Another great start- I drove great, car ran great. We pitted with 15 minutes to go, and put 13 gallons of fuel in- I finished first in class, My first win! And weighed in 20lbs over.
Being fat never felt so good.
Third Race, / Sprint SAARC
Engine failure on the second lap….
FES (Florida Endurance Series)
TES (Tropical Endurance Series)
RR (Regional Races)
SAARC (South Atlantic Road Racing Championship

Upcoming Race in Daytona, SAARC and TES enduro
Kip way to go! back of the field to first in 3 laps!
Thanks Mike for letting me keep dry under your trailer/awning and helping with an amazing pit stop, fuel and 4 tires changed in 5 minutes!
Good times, finished 5th in class in the Enduro, despite a lousy start. Better starts in the regional races, Learning Learning Learning-

This is my first effort at a lot of things, auto racing, web site building, going off medication.
My limiting reagents are time, money and talent. Be patient, more stuff will get posted.
I'll start working on adding "Hero- Go Pro" footage of some race moments. Great little device, now evey human can buy their own little "black box" to record when something goes terribly, terribly wrong
